The cardiologist would work in an exciting and thriving program with the full AdventHealth healthcare system support (50+ hospitals across nine states including 30 in Florida). AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Neonatologist to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.
The Neonatologist would be responsible for but not limited to covering the 16 bed NICU at AH Daytona along with participating in daily family centered rounding and attending high risk deliveries. The schedule would consist of both restricted (8hrs of in-house coverage) and unrestricted call (call within a 20-30 min response time) resulting in approximately 15 shifts per month.

AdventHealth for Children Walt Disney Pavilion
As part of the AdventHealth Daytona Beach collaboration with the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, patients will have the support of a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. This neuro oncologist will help grow our program and manage neuro-oncology patients in our busy, high-volume practice (we have over 100 gliomas per year). The practice includes a dedicated social worker and dedicated chemotherapy nurse, with multiple satellites for chemo infusion at various locations.
