This Medical Director would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program. He or she would focus on the outpatient clinic, own a patient panel, while teaching our residents and medical students.
Faculty Responsibilities The physician's duties will include his or her own personal family medicine clinic, precepting residents and medical students, giving didactic lectures, constructing curriculum and evaluating residents and medical students. There is an opportunity to incorporate OMM into both clinical care and teaching.
Medical Director Responsibilities Oversight of the outpatient clinic, ensuring quality metrics are being met, education on quality metrics and how to improve, implementation of quality improvement projects with the residents, etc.

The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession.
